Un nuevo año y un nuevo empieza

Hey!

Now it is a new year and a new opportunity for everyone! It is a new opportunutiy to preach the gospel, serve others, and become a closer to Christ!!! I hope that all of you this year will make a new years resolution to be servants of the Lord. To be a witness of Him in all things, all times, and all places. The work of the Lord is one of the best ways to get a smile on your face! You will feel the spirit of the Lord touch your heart and touch the hearts of those around you!!! In the age of tecnology, the church has been making a huge effort to get into multimedia. They have been making videos, messages, and movies to help share the Gospel. Give the church a hand and post those messages and videos and such on facebook!!! It is such an easy way to share the gospel and help someone feel a little bit closer to Christ!!!!

It's crazy to think a year ago I wasn't even sure if I was going to leave on a mission until after a semester of school! Crazy how things have changed, and changed for the better!!! I am so happy for the way things have turned out and I can't wait to see what more surprises God has in store for me this year!!! I can't wait!

This week was a little slow. Nothing much happened. We had a New Year's activity as a zone on wednesday and had a BBQ and everything!! It was super fun. We played some intense soccer and volleyball and then we died because it was like 8000 degrees outside. But worth it!!!

But yeah nothing much happened this week. We have bee having a hard time finding people still and having lessons but its okay. I am just trying to be my best!

Next week is changes and I am a little nervous about what will happen! but we will see!!!

Awkward: I got cussed out in English! It was really interesting...
Awesome: I am just awesome, that's what's awesome. Haha.

I love you all and I can't wait to hear from you!!!

Keep the Faith, Share the Gospel, Put on a Smile!

Woof, Navidad!!

Hey Mom!!!

So it was absolutely amazing to talk to you guys!!! Like holy crap. I didn't know what to do afterwards. I kind of just sat there for a bit and just thought about you guys. I miss you!!! But I know that all of you are having a great time without me and I am having a great time here in Peru! So its okay.

I am so jealous of all your adventures!!! I miss the snow so much. Like I am tried of sweating. All I really want is a snowman. That's all I want. Haha. But its okay. Somedays are really pretty and I find ways to deal with the heat and with the sweat. I drink a lot of water and pee alot. TMI? ehhh.

Okay for this week. I'll be honest, it was really really slow. We had a really hard time teaching and finding people because of the Holidays. Everyone was either too busy for us or they had family and couldnt talk. ( I can't figure out how to do quotations but imagine quotations). But we had some good expreiences this week!! We worked hard and knocked a lot of doors with little success. But thats the way it will be! We did find one guy though. We were just knocking and knocking and no one was letting us in and then we knocked on one door and the first thing the guy said to us was please come in!!! We went in and shared a scripture and then he said look boys, many people come to my door trying to preach the gospel and I never open my door to them, but today I did and I don't know why. I think God is trying to tell me something. At this moment I was just like YES!!!! Finally!!!! Unfortunately he says that he is hard to find at his house because he works a lot but if we pass by once again and he is there he would love to hear our message. It was so great. I really hope to find him again.

Another cool thing that happened was yesterday. We were visting the sister that we baptized on Saturday and just checking if she is reading and praying and everything is hunky dory. She said yes and then she started sharing a story of how she was reading the introdutction of the B.o.M. and the testimony of Joseph Smith and she said she just had this feeling deep inside her. She didn't know what it was and when she looked at the picture of Joseph Smith she felt it even stronger. It was so cool. I told her that was the Holy Ghost and that it was testifying to her that The Book of Mormon was true. She was like ohhhh yeah! Of course!! It was such a cool experience.

I love the Book of Mormon so much!! I am reading it right now in spanish and I am almost half was through!!! It is so cool reading it in spanish because when I don't understand things the spirit testifies of the priciple that is being taught and I learn so much! It is really really neat. My spanish is really cruising along.

Well I hope yall have a great time in St. George and everything is fun!!! I love you!!!!! Happy New Year!!!!!
